Workshop Settings is where administrators configure module-level behaviour for the Workshop module.
Navigate to Workshop → Configuration → Workshop Settings.
Editing requires the Administrator role. Other users with access to the Workshop module can view the page, but the Edit option is not available to them.

| Workshop Kiosk Change Depot Pin | The PIN required to change the depot the Mechanic Kiosk is viewing. Digits only, maximum 4. |

| Parts Markup Percentage (%) | The percentage applied to parts costs when generating an External Work Order Report. Accepts up to 100, to two decimal places. |
Fuel is recorded against a part, and each fuel type has its own.

| AdBlue Part | The part record AdBlue is recorded against. |
Start typing a part number or description to search the parts list.
❕Note: Neither the diesel nor the AdBlue part can be added to a job task. Fuel is consumed only by fills, so these parts are deliberately excluded from task part lines.

| Workshop Email Address | The email address printed on PDFs and reports generated by the Workshop module, for example purchase orders and external work order reports. One address only. |
When an attachment is added to a supplier's file, an expiration date can be set against it. These settings control the automated monthly email that reports supplier attachments approaching expiry.
This email is sent on the first day of each month.

| Send Emails? | Set to Yes to enable the monthly expiry notification email, or No to switch it off. |
| Recipients | One or more email addresses, separated by a semicolon (;) with no spaces. For example: [email protected];[email protected] Maximum 200 characters. |
| Attachments Expiring Within (Days) | The number of days notice required. Attachments due to expire within this many days are included in the email. |
Choose which tech specs appear as columns on the fuel consumption report, and in what order.
To remove a column, click the delete icon 🗑 beside it.
❕Note: A tech spec already used as a column is not offered again in the dropdown, so each tech spec can appear only once.

These settings control how job order sheets and checklists are formatted when printed.

| Initials | The original layout. A single column for mechanics to initial each checklist item. |
| Initials and Checkbox | Adds a second checkbox column alongside the initials column. Each printed page includes a key explaining the marking conventions for the two columns. |
