Overview

Central ops allows you to send notes to your staff regarding any important information or updates, these notes will appear in different locations, depending on the recipients.

Creating a note

  1. Navigate to People → Notes.

  2. Click the ➕ in the header.

  3. Enter the date that you want the note to appear in the kiosk

  4. Enter the note.

  5. Select the staff members you would like to send the note to using one of the following options:

    1. Select individual staff members from the dropdown list.

    2. Select one of the preset staff lists:

      1. + Add All Staff - Adds all currently active staff.
      2. + Add All Drivers - Adds all staff with a current Drivers Authorisation.
    3. Select staff by role:

      1. click + Add Staff by Role
      2. Select a role from the dropdown list & click ok.

  6. To remove staff members from the list of recipients, clicking on the blue x next to their name.

  7. Click Submit

Viewing a note

  1. Navigate to PeopleNotes
  2. Find the note want to view by scrolling, using filters or using the search tool 🔍
  3. Click on the date of the note to open the Manage Note page.

Editing a note

  1. From the Manage Note page, click the edit icon ✏️ in the header.
  2. Make the required changes, including editing the note, changing the date or adding or removing staff members.
  3. To save the changes, click Submit.

Deleting a note

  1. From the Manage Note page, select Delete Note from the Triple Dot Menu.
  2. On the confirmation page, click Delete

How do notes appear

Driver’s Kiosk

Notes appear on a banner across the top of the screen with a ‘Mark all as read’ button for the drivers to mark the messages as read once they’ve seen them. Drivers marking notes as read in the kiosk will also mark them as read in the driver’s app.

Driver’s App

Notes appear in the Inbox tab.

Clicking on a note to read it will mark the note as read in the app & also on the kiosk.

Drivers have the ability to delete notes from their inbox using the delete button inside each note.

Note: Notes will also appear as a push notification when using the driver’s app
