Sales Settings holds the module-level configuration for Sales: the charters contact address and the boarding point option for quote documents, the confirmation text each trading company prints at the foot of its quotes and bookings, and the format of the Quote Type column in the bookings export for accounting.
Navigate to Sales → Configuration → Sales Settings.
Editing requires the Sales role. Other users with access to the Sales module can view the page, but the Edit option is not available to them.
❕Note: Unlike the other Settings pages, Sales Settings is edited with the Sales role, not the Administrator role. An administrator without the Sales role can view the page but not change it.

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Charters Email | The charters contact address. It prints in the footer of quote and booking documents, and it is the address the {{CharterEmail}} token prints in confirmation text. Optional. When filled in, it must be a valid email address. Maximum 200 characters. |
| Show boarding point address on quotes | Set to Yes to print the full address of each boarding point beneath it in the trip details of a quote or booking document. Set to No to print the boarding point name only. |
❕Note: If Charters Email is left blank, quotes still generate. The email line in the footer prints empty, and {{CharterEmail}} prints nothing.
❕Note: Some quote layouts carry a footer designed for that operator, with fixed contact details. On those layouts, changing Charters Email does not change the footer. If your footer does not show the address you expect, email Triple D Support.
The Confirmation section near the foot of a quote or booking document is written here, in Markdown. Each trading company has its own pair of texts. They are all shown at once, with your default trading company first and the rest in name order, so you can see where they differ.
There is no shared default and no inheritance. Changing one trading company's text does not change another's. The sections follow your trading companies, so there is no add or remove button.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Quote Confirmation Text (Markdown) | Printed while the document is a quote, with a status of Quoted or Declined. Required. Maximum 10,000 characters. |
| Booking Confirmation Text (Markdown) | Printed once the quote has been booked, with a status of Booked, Completed, Cancelled or Cancelled In Progress. Required. Maximum 10,000 characters. |

A Quote Preview and a Booking Preview sit beneath their boxes and update as you type. They show the text as it will print rather than as it is typed: {{QuoteDate}} shows today's date and {{CharterEmail}} shows the Charters Email above, so you can check the wording before you submit.
The text prints in the Confirmation section near the foot of the document. A change applies to documents generated after you submit it.

| Token | What it prints |
|---|---|
{{QuoteDate}} |
The date the document is generated, as day/month/year. |
{{CharterEmail}} |
The Charters Email from the Quotes section of this page. |
These are the only two tokens. Any other {{...}} is rejected when you submit, and the message names the token you typed.
