Overview

The Operations → Tasks page shows a list of bookings & jobs that have extras added to them that the operations team need to be aware of & may need to take some action on.

When Sales → Extras are created, there is a question that gets asked as to whether or not a task should be created for the operations team when that extra is added to a job.

Any job starting on the current day, with an extra ticked yes, will appear on the Operations → Tasks page for that day.

You can view tasks for different days by using the left & right arrows in the top right corner.

The Incomplete Charter Tasks tile on the Operations page shows a count of tasks for the following day that haven’t been marked as complete. Clicking on the tile will take you to the Operations → Tasks page for the following day.

Completing a task

Once a task has been actioned by operations staff, the next step is to mark the task as complete so that all other users know that the task has been taken care of & no further action is necessary.

  1. Navigate to Operations → Tasks.

  2. Find the task you would like to mark as complete & click the edit button 📝

  3. On the Update Task modal that appears, click on Yes to indicate that the task is complete

  4. enter any notes and click Ok
