If your workshop team performs maintenance and servicing on vehicles for third parties, those assets can be added to Central-Ops and differentiated from the rest of the fleet by specifying the third party as an owner.
Navigate to Workshop β Configuration β Owners to view a list of owners, their email address, phone number and if their jobs require billing.
The owner list is searchable using the search tool π located at the top of the page.
Click on an owners Name to view their details.
From the Owners page click the β in the header.
Enter in the ownerβs details.
βNote: All fields marked with * are required. βNote: The name must be unique.
Click Submit
Work carried out on assets that belong to a third party may need to be invoiced for the parts and labour used. By setting βJobs Require Billingβ to Yes on an owners account, new tasks that are created for assets that belong to that owner will default the βBillableβ field to Yes.
One or more contacts can be added to owners. You can add and edit contacts from the Manage Owner page.
From the Owners page, click on the Name to open the Mange Owner page.
On the Contacts tab, click + Add Contact.
Enter the contacts details, then click OK.

You are able to add notes to owners for internal purposes. The notes will be displayed on the Manage Owner page on the Notes tab.
To delete an owner, navigate to the Manage owner page, click Delete Owner from the Triple Dot Menu.
Depending on whether an owner has any assets listed in the system and the status of those assets, you may be presented with one of the following scenarios:
Scenario 1: If any active assets belong to this owner:
In this scenario, if an owner has active assets within the system, you will not be able to delete the owner or make them inactive until any active assets have been decommissioned.
βNote: All of the asset names are hyperlinks that can quickly navigate you to its Manage asset page allowing you to either decommission it or change the owner.
Scenario 2: All of an owners assets are decommissioned:
In this scenario you will not be able to delete the owner, instead you will be able to mark them as inactive. Marking an owner as inactive, prevents them from appearing as an option when creating a new asset or workshop task.
Click Mark As Inactive when prompted.

Scenario 3: If there are no assets that are linked to the owner:
You will be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the owner.
Click Delete to delete the owner.
