Overview

The hourly rates page allows you to set up different hourly rates based on either weekdays, Saturday, Sunday or public holidays.

Each category may also have a corresponding ‘Waiting’ value, depending on your company.

These values are used to calculate the labour cost component of a quote when using the kilometers cost type option.

Viewing hourly rates

To view your current hourly rates, navigate to Sales → Configuration → Hourly Rates.

A table containing the current hourly rates & the effective from & to dates will be shown, as seen in the example below.

Adding new hourly rates

1. On the Manage Hourly Rates page Click on the ➕Add Rates
2. Enter the Start Date for the new rates to take affect.
3. Add the new rates in the relevant categories. ❕Note: These rates will apply to newly created quotes. Previous quotes will not automatically update their prices to reflect these updated hourly rates

Editing hourly rates

1. To adjust the hourly rates, click on the edit icon ✏️ .

❕Note: The start date cannot be changed if it is the first record in the table.

❕Note: If you adjust the start date for a record, the end date for the previous record will update to the day before the new start date.

1. Click Ok to save the changes.
