A boarding point is a designated location where passengers can get picked up or dropped off as part of a route on a charter. Bookings will often have multiple boarding points as part of a trip, allowing passengers to get on and off at different locations as needed.
Notes: Enter any driver specific notes relating to the boarding point. These will appear on driver’s paperwork, within the Driver’s Kiosk and on the Driver’s App. For example: “Pickup the gate key from operations before starting the job”.
State: The time zone for pick up and drop off will be determined by the state of the boarding point.
On the navbar expand Sales → Boarding Points.
Click the ➕ in the header to add a new boarding point.
On the Create a Boarding Point page, fill in the required details and click Submit.
❕Note: The name must be unique.
❕Note: Fields marked with * are mandatory.
💡 Recommendation: Try to make the boarding point address as accurate as possible as they appear as clickable links within the fleet app and will take a driver to google maps and show the approximate location of the boarding point.
❕Note: If the information for a boarding point, such as its name or address, is altered, any quotes or bookings that have not yet been completed will be updated to reflect the new information for that boarding point.
During the creation of a quote, if a new boarding point needs to be created for a pick up or drop of locations, you can do this within the quote as follows:
Within a quote under the Routes section click the ➕.
The Create Boarding Point form will be shown allowing you to enter the name and address information.
Fill in the details and click Submit.
